ICDT Participates at the Anniversary Staff Meeting of the Hungarian Defence Forces Civil-Military Cooperation and Psychological Operations Centre

On July 9, 2012 members of the ICDT staff participated at the 9th anniversary staff meeting of the Hungarian Defence Forces Civil-Military Cooperation and Psychological Operations Centre (HDF CIMIC/PSYOPS) in Budapest. As a key partner of the HDF, ICDT was invited to the troop ceremony along with other governmental and non-governmental officials.

The welcome speech was held by the Commander of the HDF Joint Force Command, Major General László Domján, Colonel Csaba Szilágyi, Commander of the CIMIC/PSYOPS Unit and Colonel Tibor Rózsa, Deputy Commander of the HDF Joint Force Command.

Maj. Gen. Domján emphasized the importance of the civil-miliary co-operation and encouraged the non-governmental organizations to develop long-term partnership with the HDF Units.

Col. Csaba Szilágyi introduced the most important developments of the CIMIC/PSYOPS during the past years and highlighted the relevance of the psychological operations in Hungary and abroad.

Col. Tibor Rózsa congratulated the Centre for their activities and hard work during its nine years of existence.

The ICDT delegates also held meetings with HDF officials and representatives of the MFA and other non-governmental organizations during the reception held after the ceremony.
