Nordic Day – Roundtable Discussion

Objectives

The aim of the roundtable discussion is to bring together specified officials along with NGO representatives from the Visegrad Countries and Nordic Cooperation Countries. The roundtable discussion will introduce the most important achievements of the Nordic Cooperation and will discuss the current results and challenges of the regional cooperation. 

Background

The political co-operation of the Nordic Countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) is built on common values and a willingness to achieve results that contribute to a dynamic development and increase Nordic competencies and competitiveness.

Project Description

The workshop will introduce the most important achievements of the Nordic Cooperation for the approximately 45-50 governmental, civil society and media representatives of the Visegrad Countries, who will discuss the current results and challenges of the regional cooperation with the invited speakers from the Nordic countries. In addition, another informal objective of the event is to enhance the communication among the decision-makers and experts of the field.

The event titled “Nordic Cooperation – Roundtable Discussion”, to be held on March 20, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
