The Corvinus Society for Foreign Affairs and Culture (CKKE) and ICDT are attending the Sziget Festival for the third time between 8-12 August 2012. This year the Tom Lantos Institute will also be a co-organizer of the program, aiming to present the changes of the modern world's diplomacy and focusing on the countries of the Western Balkans and the Eastern Partnership.

Europe is the symbol of co-operation, and the civil sector is the place where this co-operation can be materialized in the best way. With our help, even the non-EU-member countries will feel like proper members of the Union for a week, part of the „European family”. With this in mind, besides Western Balkan countries we are making steps towards the countries of the Eastern Partnership, too, considering the priorities of the 2011 Hungarian and Polish EU presidencies.

Beside interesting and informative educational programs and discussions with diplomats and experts of the field, the program will include quiz games, Balkan settlers' boardgame, drink tasting and competition.
