Within the framework of the project „Promoting Moldova’s EU Aspirations”, ICDT colleagues attended a study tour between 23-25 September in the town of Ribnita, Moldova. The aim of the initiative is to compile and publish a feasibility study on the possible reconstruction of a local community centre according to modern, green standards.

The feasibility study would not only serve as a handbook of introducing modern, cost-efficient and sustainable technologies into underdeveloped areas, but would also provide practical, technical details on how construction and reconstrution projects could be fulfilled according to EU standards.

Mr. Balázs Nagy, Associate Professor of the Budapest University of Engineering and Economics (BME) introduced the technological background to the representatives of the concerned municipalities, and conducted an on-sight visit and measurement at the premises of the designated, currently existing community center building in the town of Ribnita.
