Senior Advisor of ICDT Held Consultation and Chaired Workshop with the Dniester Euroregion Representatives

Mr. Sándor Köles, Senior Advisor of the ICDT held a consultation with Mr. Serhiy Tatusiak, Head of the Council of the Dniester/Nistru Euroregion and other members in Vinnytsia on July 4, 2013, held in the framework of the “Capacity Building of the Dniester/Nistru Euroregion” project, supported by the International Visegrad Fund (IVF).

Further to the success of the last event of the project, the study trip to Hungary, Mr. Köles and Mr. Tatusiak discussed the current status of the organization’s strategic documents. Mr. Köles informed the Council of the Dniester/Nistru Euroregion on the latest developments in the drafting process.

As the documents are planned to be completed by September 2013, Mr. Köles also held a workshop for the staff of the Coordination Centre of the Dniester/Nistru Euroregion. The young and enthusiastic staff is eager to learn from the experiences of the Central and Eastern European – especially the V4 – civil society’s development. Therefore, the ICDT and its partner organization, the Institute for Stability and Development (ISD) is consulting them on a regular basis.

As the latest version of the Strategy was approved by the Council of the Euroregion, the Centre is planning to share and discuss it with a wider public, including all stakeholders of the Euroregion. The Council and the management of the ICDT – together with its Senior Advisor – approved the date of the final event of the project which will be held between September 24-25 in Vinnytsia, Ukraine.
